Connecting certification, collections and commerce
After ten years of helping creators authenticate their artworks, bundle physical and digital projects and mint digital editions, last month we launched our authenticated marketplace.
It’s an artist-first, collector-driven space where you can discover, inquire or sell authenticated art, all within our trusted ecosystem. The marketplace marks the next step in our mission to make provenance, ownership and value transparent across the entire lifecycle of a work. By connecting certification, collection and commerce, we’re creating a seamless and trusted experience for artists and collectors alike.

Fair fees and an artist-first model
What sets us apart isn’t just our commitment to transparency, it’s our artist-first ethos.
While galleries take commission fees of 50%, we charge just 10% on all final sales. On resales, we share that percentage on a 50/50 basis with the original creator, ensuring artists get paid on every sale.
With integrated certification, verified creator profiles and collections, you can trade with confidence knowing our Certificates of Authenticity’s guarantee 100% authenticity.
Smarter search and personalized discovery
Our AI search tool and filtering system allow collectors to find exactly what they want. Whether someone searches for a painting of “a pink unicorn in the sky” or a simple “portrait of a woman”, the AI browses over 225,000 certified works and returns the most relevant results. Standard filters like medium, production method, dimensions and object type make discovery even more precise. When collectors open a work, they can view its key details, verify metadata and explore any creator notes or additional media.
Our AI embeds both text metadata and artwork images into a shared semantic space. This means the system understands not only what an artist writes in their certificate description and title, but also what a work communicates visually from style, subject, color and mood. Search results feel intuitive even when metadata is sparse or subjective. We integrated Gemini to power this layer because of its semantic strength, ability to generate consistent metatags and efficiency at scale.
“As collectors browse, the system learns their preferences. We combine artwork signals such as style, subject matter, palette and medium with user signals like favorites and purchases. Bringing these into a shared embedding space allows us to surface suggestions that reflect both the artworks themselves and the buyer’s personal taste”
Said Kevin Lam, Product Engineer at Verisart.

Choose how to sell - inquiries or fixed prices
Sellers control how their work appears in the marketplace. Every Certificate of Authenticity now includes ‘Inquire for availability’ button. This makes the work discoverable and open to offers without requiring a fixed price. To opt out, sellers can make a certificate private or remove the button across all their certificates with one toggle.
For sellers who want an immediate sale, there’s the option to list a fixed price either at the moment of certification or through a subsequent edit. Collectors who buy works listed at fixed prices skip the inquiry stage altogether.
Direct and encrypted communication without friction
To ensure a seamless flow between buyers and sellers, we enabled secure and encrypted messaging via our in-app system. Messages ensure the user’s email address remains private and shields conversations from inbox clutter. Our interactive guide helps both parties through the transaction, enabling them to send, accept, counter or reject offers.

Shipping and insurance - protecting all parties
Beyond the transaction itself, we wanted the logistics to be equally seamless and straightforward. That’s why we partnered with Arta, an industry leading platform in the art world, to offer insured shipping for all works. When buyers select one of our recommended shipping options, they can be assured their shipments come with insurance, real-time tracking and notifications at every step.
When the work arrives, the buyer confirms delivery and the system releases funds to the seller and automatically transferring the certificate. This closes the loop in a way that protects both sides of the transaction and keeps provenance intact from start to finish.
Looking ahead
The marketplace is just getting started. As more creators join, more collections take shape and more tools develop around discovery and ownership, we’re building a space where authenticated art can move with clarity and confidence. We’re excited to see how artists and collectors use it and what the next decade has in store.
