History:
The original Bubba Keg Convection Grill was manufactured by In Zone Inc.
In Smyrna, Georgia USA in 2008. The grill evolved to the Big Steel Keg. In 2010, Onward Manufacturing (Waterloo, Ontario) purchased the assets of the BSK from In Zone. The grill was rebranded by Onward as the Broil King Keg 4000 then the 5000.

The trademark for the Bubba Keg name was filed in 2008 by In Zone and abandoned in 2011.

The name and design of Bubba Keg was disputed over the years. Bubba Brands, who created the Bubba Keg mug, was acquired by Newell Rubbermaid’s Coleman Company in 2014.
