Another painting I did to capture winter beauty, my idea originally was winter berries on a yellow background but as a I painted the painting took on a life of it's own and the area on the top right would not allow me to paint in any berries but kept on saying paint a robin. I search the internet and found some images of robins. I do not often paint animals, but I have. However you never know how an image will go and I really like this painting as it was, but the robin would not go away. So there it is, and I love my robin, so pleased I painted him.
