Exposed roots

Coastal mangrove wetlands are abundant in South Florida. Still, there's something primal and exotic about looking at their exposed roots and the natural habitat they provide to plenty of organic life. Whenever I look at these exposed roots, I contemplate the core ethical values that keep me grounded. The original, untouched photo was captured at the 1,501-acre Anne Kolb Nature Center.
