Ganesha, known as the lord of the beginning and the remover of obstacles, is seen in this painting “Dance of Infinity” as the medium that is in between life and death.
Infinity is a flow of a never-ending lifecycle that has no beginning nor end. This symbol below Ganesha’s feet denotes the role of this adorable medium of creation.
The drum that is held in the hand symbolises the ‘blackhole’.
The white light that enters into the right side is a symbol of the final fire that turns into dust in death. The Red on the other side that is vibrating as it travels out is the symbol of a new beginning for blood that is red is the source of human creation.
His head is slanted towards north east, symbolising the union between the cosmic energy and Ganesha.
The left hand is shown receiving subtle vibration in red from Nibiru, the ethereal planet that inspires the intuitive nature in creation.
Poem:
I always wanted to play the instrument that my father played
while my mother dance in ecstasy
One day while He was resting in my mother’s lap
I took hold of the drum and ran to the hall of creation
…the moment my fingers touched the wondrous beat of time…
…I felt my father’s breath seeping into mine
And my body stretched itself…
I was no more me
I was Him and His conscience within me
As I played my body moved
...and merged into the infinite and the colour red
the red centre… the source of all balance
