Gisele “Gigi” Ragusa was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring in 2019. She has mentored just under 1,000 pre-service and in-service teachers, as well as 320 community college and university faculty members in addition to her work at USC. Altogether, her community outreach work has impacted 7,500 K-12 students, and 500 undergraduates.
