For the audience, the theater is a zone of magic action. The behind-the-scenes life is the inner, hidden from prying eyes and a zone of conspiracy sophistication and even cultural cruelty. The complexity of introverted zigzags, reflections, and various kinds of dependencies are artist’s constant companions. Hiding behind an imaginary mask becomes the only possible way to survive. The artist faces his inner “Joker” that begins to prevail and gradually burns him from the inside. The time comes not to hide your impulses behind your imaginary images as the mask turns inside out, grows while the inverted musical signs spill ink on the ambient space. Once scar masks are fixed, they will remain forever. A lingering note of despair hangs over the auditorium.
