‘Dessert’ illustrates the temptation and longing of two lovers. They are both waiting for the other, dreaming. A woman with a grandiose hairstyle sits and eats dessert from a golden cup, imagining herself as the dessert for her lover. Meanwhile, her lover has ‘lost his head’ and does not know what to do with it, as he passively waits for the woman to come to him. A snake wraps itself around the vase, acting as a symbol of temptation. Both of them wait and long for each other, neither of them able to take the courageous step to go to the other.
