The portrait on the bronze background was created during my years of working in Professor Abraham Haddad’s lithography studio at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The background features the same bronze color used in the Croix and Les Reines du Temps Jadis series. The drawing, executed with fluent lines in China Black Ink, is simplified yet expressive. It portrays a dialogue between the melancholic face of a young girl and hands adorned with ornamental flowers, which might belong to her—or perhaps to someone else—gently touching her.
