Ode to Joy

Created on August 28, 2021 from an original photographic chemigram made using Kentmere RC Glossy paper, photographic chemicals, and wet lacquer resist. In this edition, the small original has been prepared digitally for large-scale printing on aluminum.
This image was made as Afghanistan fell. With my heart full of the anguish of the Afghan people, I could not help but smile in joy as these exuberant bubbles emerged.
