“Persistence of Vision” is like chutes and ladders, trying to climb up life's ladders against random rolls of the dice only to find the ladder never ends and we're climbing in circles. Although going down the slide puts us further behind, isn't it more fun and free? At what point point do we reach the definition of success we envision, the top of our ladders we reach for? Are we working towards invisible horizons never finding satisfaction while forgetting we can occasionally take time to relax?
My works are digital collages influenced by vintage and GAN generated elements. Breathing new life and thrusting them with retroactive effect and force into our present day. A lingering taste of what once was, and what could still be while challenging concepts of our shared human experience. This png piece is compatible and optimized for a PORTL Hologram unit as well as traditional digital displays. The work is accompanied by additional certification on the ethereum blockchain through Verisart.
