The Rhombicuboctahedron is a bouncy geometry born from a cube which skips into a rhomboid prism, trapping itself in an endless loop of whimsical inevitability.
Rhombicuboctahedron is the first in a series of three pieces in the Electric Forms collection, a collaboration between LIBESKIND ARTS, artist Adamo Moses and clarinetist Bill Kalinkos. Electric Forms is influenced by the geometric figures of the famed Renaissance mathematician Luca Pacioli. Pacioli’s work is usually taken very seriously, yet we know from his journals that this genius polymath also had a lighter side which we’ve attempted to draw out in this collection. Full of spirited movement and unexpected transformations and accompanied by original music, the collection seeks to reinterpret Renaissance geometries in the 21st century.
The buyer will also receive a higher quality, 4000x4000 mp4 file.
