Origins of card #1

A trained eye can distinguish an O-Pee-Chee version from the Topps version. There were no Topps or O-Pee-Chee logos or lines printed on the cards. Instead, both versions show the copyright as 20th Century Fox-Film Corp. Also, there is not a french translation of Luke Skywalker which would have appeared on the O-Pee-Chee card. The distinction is the smaller font size and the name appears as a single line on the O-Pee-Chee card whereas the Topps card has the name printed on two lines in a larger font.
