'The All-Seeing Alice' is part of the 'Trippy Alice' digital collage series by Ishq Jeffrey, a digital artist and designer from Kuala Lumpur. This digital collage is conceived upon the realization that the Eye of Providence has always existed within each and every one of us. This is Alice looking inward towards her self. With her eyes covered, blocking out common human distractions, her mind's senses became enlightened and she is able to penetrate into the essence of things. The limited human vision simply does not truly capture the essence of the world, and what is unnecessary must be filtered out. By seeing through the Eye of Providence, the ever watchful eye that sees things as they really are, Alice finally gained self-realization and illumination. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice and all the inhabitants of the Wonderland, 'Trippy Alice' is about following your imagination and and being in a perpetual child-like state of free-association, while trying to remain unchanged in a world that constantly attempts to censor imagination and put a limit over your child-like wonder. More artwork will be added soon to the collection.
