This partially transparent print is a quantum manipulation of Heaney's watercolour of a hybrid body, which itself was composed using a surrealist collage method guided by quantum randomness. Heaney uses her self-written quantum computing code to remix a scan of the original painting so that it appears layered and blurry. The resulting image prompts the individual to understand new forms of life through advanced technologies, nonlinear temporalities and deep entanglements, as something that is in the never-ending process of unfolding and becoming.
