Notes from Creator
The moments depicted in the History series have lost their attachment to chronological time, space, and community. They no longer exist within reality but only within the rhythm and velocity of the Metaverse. These works bring nostalgia and memory into the current vernacular where the indelible images have crossed over into the ephemeral.
In each of the nine NFT's in the first History series, an iconic moment is depicted in the form of a three-dimensional cube, formed by expanding harmonics reflecting the relentless algorithms of search engines. Frequently, what is most searched is not necessarily what is most significant, but what is popular or sensational. In this peak-internet age, the perception of memory is often what can be retained in an instant swipe from one cube’s face to another.
