"Dreaming of Hong Kong"
This artwork was inspired by the June demonstration here in Hong Kong against an extradition bill proposed by the Government. Following a series of protests, over 2 million people took part in very hot and cramped conditions without violence or disturbance on 16.6.2019.
The source of inspiration is from Cui Xiuwen (Chinese, 1970–2018) Angel No. 11, 2006 Photograph series’
