This multi-layer wooden Bitcoin wall art is made from multiple layers of
high quality Baltic Birch. Approximately 200 multicolored LEDs installed
inside this piece gives a lovely glow with a little surprise in the
middle. Turned off, it looks like just a normal mirror, but once you
flip on the LEDs the real magic begins: LEDs embedded between two layers
of mirrored and one way mirrored acrylic sheets create an infinity
mirror, drawing the eye down into an endless tunnel of LEDS. The LEDS
installed run off a small controller located in the back of the piece
and is powered with a 12v power adapter. With over 200 different
pre-programmed settings there are endless looks this art piece can have.
The body of the piece is constructed from multiple layers of laser cut
Baltic Birch plywood hand pieced together, glued and painted. On the
face of the Bitcoin are multiple notes of fiat currency from all over
the world, most of which are worthless or no longer used in their
country of origin. The fiat currency is collaged and glued to the piece
with one layer of laser cut wood glued over top. This layer is the gold
painted circuit board seen on the topmost layer of the piece.
The words “Bitcoin Digital Decentralized Peer to Peer” and “1 Troy Oz
999 Copper Monetary Metals”, are cut into the top layer of the body of
this piece allowing the LEDs around the outermost edge to shine through,
illuminating them from behind.
