One of the ideas Recycle Group are primarily concerned with is capturing a moment in space. In this video work, the artists show two worlds, the real and digital. In the first world, the stone is skipping on the water’s surface with its powers overcoming the laws of physics. When the camera comes in closer, the viewer goes through the surface of the water droplet into the digital world. There is an important moment of contact between the solid matter and liquid. The splash that comes after the stone drops is no longer constrained by physics and switches its axis from horizontal to vertical to resemble a screen. The screens represent an exponential image of digital content in an infinite space. The video is a loop where the processes in the physical world are connected to the digital realm.
