To the delight of astronomers, navigators, and engineers (and to the chagrin of most high school students) James Clerk Maxwell sketched out a set of partial differential equations that form the foundation of electromagnetism, optics, and electrical circuits. As an homage to Maxwell's Equations, the eigth work in our máthēma collection, filaments are pulled magnetically between 8 three-dimensional Nablas (a harp-shaped symbol or inverted Delta used to denote a vector differential operator). The color of pure light, these Nablas rotate melancholically to music, as the colorful filaments ripple between them.
