The first part of a 2-part excerpt of the Kandinsky Prize-winning video artwork, Allegoria Sacra (2011), depicting the arrival of a Dragon Plane from the East. Part of the artists' Liminal Space Trilogy, Allegoria Sacra depicts an international airport as a metaphor for Purgatory, a contemporary reinterpretation of the mysterious eponymous painting by Giovanni Bellini, widely regarded as a depiction of that transitory space.
