Meet the team
Robert Norton, CEO and Co-Founder
Robert is an entrepreneur with a passion for art and technology. Before establishing Verisart, he was the co-founder and CEO of Saatchi Art and Sedition Art. Previously he worked on the executive management team at King.com and AOL Europe. Robert graduated from Oxford University with a Masters in Modern History. He collects documentary photographs from the 1940s to 1980s and his most treasured possessions are Asmat drums from West Papua. Learn more about Robert’s career here.
John Wood, CTO
John has worked at companies such Hewlett Packard and Aistemos, which provides strategic patent intelligence. He has extensive experience in startups, including roles as co-founder and principal engineer. John has worked with cloud and distributed systems, machine learning and cryptographic systems. He studied Computer Science at the University of Bristol. John treasures creativity by enjoying the weird and wonderful artists on Twitter such as Simon Stålenhag.
Marija Riba, Head of Product
Marija transitioned from fintech marketing to leading product innovation in crypto and web3. With a steadfast belief in blockchain's potential, she champions equitable access to both the financial and creative sectors. In parallel, Marija serves as a tech mentor, frequently contributing her expertise to panels and webinars. Outside of work, she loves going to the theatre and art exhibitions, hiking, and producing the occasional watercolour.
Natalia Chow, Community Lead
Natalia is passionate about art, creative control, and artistic ownership. She holds a BA in Art History from University College London and spends her weekends creating art and exploring galleries.
Dardan Gashi, Product Engineer
Dardan is passionate about the Web3 space and is always reading and learning about the newest innovations. He holds a BSC in computer science from City University of London. In his spare time he likes to collect and trade NFTs to add to his collection.
Harry Zeng, Product Engineer
Harry's deep enthusiasm for full-stack web development extends into the dynamic realm of Web3, where he harnesses his passion to create innovative digital experiences and explore decentralized technologies. He holds a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow. He treasures creativity by exploring fashion and streetwear shops in cities and visiting galleries.
Javokhirkhon Sharipkhonov, Product Engineer
Javokhir is a software engineer specialising in UI/UX development. With a dedicated focus on creating polished and user-friendly interfaces, he possesses a profound interest in design principles. He holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science. Javokhir is actively engaged in exploring the latest Web3 technologies.
Lanxe Yu, Engineering Intern
Lanxe is a full stack developer who makes games in his free time. He has worked at Analog Devices testing semiconductors, and brings a creative flair from his content creation background. Lanxe is excited about the evolving landscape of Web3 gaming ecosystems.
Bradford Schlei, Artist Relations and Co-Founder
Bradford Schlei is an acclaimed filmmaker and financier who previously served as partner and Head of Production of Muse Productions - creators of such critically acclaimed films as: American Psycho and Virgin Suicides. Bradford is a well known contemporary art collector in Los Angeles who attended Bennington College and Yale Law School. He is an avid collector of vinyl and stereo equipment.
